Man do my feet ache!

Helloo Helloo

I know it has been a while but the Internet cafe is a wee walk up a long hill and after a day of being on my feet it is more than I can muster to drag myself away from the warmth of my heater. Today I made it! And I did it for you! So in return the next time I make it I expect to see lots of replies awaiting me!

Well I'm counting the sleeps till Bruce gets here. Only 9 more! And then 5 days after that we move into our flat by the sea. Sounds more glamorous than it is! It is good enough and big enough for us and the sea is just a bonus! I think it is beautiful. Two bedroom, nice kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher (yay!), big living room, bathroom and lots of light. A lot of places I looked at before this one all seemed dark and you always had to have a light on. We'll send some pictures when we have made it a home!

Job is ok. Did I mention my feet hurt? People here must be given a different brand of foot because they never seem to be bothered by the long hours they spend on their feet. Now don't get me wrong I love a good walk, and don't even mind doing it in the cold and the rain, it is my feet that don't seem to be able to handle it. I think they are bruised. I think they are feeling abused and mistreated. Everyone morning I hear them (and feel them)-  above my own cries of pain- screaming 'why don't you love us anymore?'
I keep telling them what doesn't kill them only makes them stronger but they don't seem to be getting stronger yet!

I'm learning a lot about chocolate. I can now name by name and number each and every of the 38 chocolates we sell and perhaps even tell you what is in them. I also wrote a little fairy tale in honour of one of my favourites. It is called Vienne and it a dark chocolate, with a almond and coffee ganache. Superb! Maybe send it to you one of these days.
And before you ask - No I am not gorging myself on chocolates. More than opposite. I don't eat anything from work apart from the occasional ginger stick - but ginger is good for you. I did my tasting as is required and now I'm done.

Not much else to report. Saving the sightseeing for when Bruce gets here but I've been doing a lot of wandering around on my days off. Funny my feet don't seem to mind that as much. It really is a truly beautiful place and all the people have been genuinely nice to me here.

Well time to get home and have a cup of tea. Downhill most of the way home - woohoohoo!!

I wait now for your speedy, and news filled responses!

Take care of yourselves!
Love
Jay
